I shelled out almost 20 bucks for a plain rice bowl, and get this, they were out of steak when I asked for it. The chicken was cold and looked like it had been sitting there forever. They even charged me extra for cheese without asking, and it was barely any cheese for over two dollars! I'm definitely not going back, and you should know they're way pricier and worse than other spots.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had to leave a review for Flavor Hive because this breakfast was TOP TIER! We tried the steak breakfast burrito and the chicken breakfast bowl and both were easily 10 out of 10. The steak breakfast burrito was HUGE and packed with flavor — eggs, potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, sautéed onions, and perfectly seasoned steak. Every bite was hitting! The chicken breakfast bowl was just as good with chicken, eggs, cheese, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes cooked perfectly together. Super flavorful, fresh, and filling. And listen… the Hive Sauce is a GAME CHANGER. That sauce takes everything to another level. If you’re anywhere near Alexandria, yall need to RUN there ASAP for breakfast. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out! 7am-11am breakfast

I stopped by Flavor Hive for lunch today after seeing their videos online for a while, and honestly, the experience exceeded everything I expected. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with outstanding customer service by Chandler and Max. They worked as a great team from start to finish. Chandler, in particular, went above and beyond by helping me figure out the perfect flavor combination based on what I like, which made the experience feel really personalized. I ended up getting the hot honey chicken bowl, and it was incredible. The chicken had the perfect balance of heat and sweetness, and it paired perfectly with the fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the rice. The sauces really took it to another level. Their original sauce was great, but the spicy sauce absolutely stood out. If you like heat, it’s a must-try. You can tell everything is fresh, from the ingredients to the toppings. What really impressed me was how the team went the extra mile. They showed me some of their dessert options and even gave me a sample bag of Cohen Cookies, sweet and rich with chocolate and caramel flavors that were just amazing. I would always see this restaurant on FB but never had the chance to try it until today. Flavor Hive was very good and did not disappoint. All ingredients were fresh and very fulfilling. I place do definitely visit again when we are back in the area.

I recently visited Flavor Hive while I was in Alexandria, Virginia, and I was genuinely impressed. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the service was warm and welcoming. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. After having such a great experience, I honestly wish they would open another branch in Bloomington–Normal, Illinois. That area would absolutely love this kind of vibrant, flavorful spot. It would be a huge hit with students, families, and food lovers there. Flavor Hive deserves to grow — Bloomington–Normal needs a place like this!
